Recreate Responsibly

With fewer rangers and crews in the field, caring for public lands is a shared responsibility, every season of the year. Follow Leave No Trace principles: pack out what you bring in, respect wildlife and closures, follow posted rules, and dispose of waste properly. When everyone does their part, these places stay healthy, safe, and open to all.

Step Up When You Can

If you see a problem (litter on the trail, unsafe conditions, or something that doesn’t look right) take a moment to help or report it. Small actions add up, especially when public agencies are stretched thin. Call 911 for emergencies.
